On June 24, 2024, the Standard & Poor’s international agency confirmed the long-term credit rating of Eurasia Insurance Company at “BBB”, with a “Stable” outlook. According to analysts, Eurasia remains one of the most stable insurance companies even in the most severe ‘what-if’ sovereign stress test scenarios in Kazakhstan.

Based on the Standard & Poor's scale, Eurasia IC has got the highest credit rating among insurance companies in the CIS countries, which is also one notch higher than the sovereign rating of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The company's credit rating on the national scale has remained at the kzAAA level.

"According to analysts, strong operational and financial indicators, high capitalization and risk diversification, as well as a high level of solvency of Eurasia IC allow it to remain the most reliable company in the insurance industry of Kazakhstan for many years," Kairat Chegebayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Eurasia IC, commented on the agency's decision. - Our strategy is aimed primarily at further strengthening profitable underwriting and investment performance in order to provide high-quality insurance coverage for our clients and partners."

According to the day-to-day reporting of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the company's assets exceeded half a trillion tenge for the first time ever. Eurasia IC accounts for almost 39% of all assets among general insurance companies. In the first four months, the company collected over 80 billion tenge in insurance premiums and made insurance indemnity payments of 23.8 billion tenge. Under international reinsurance contracts, Eurasia IC received 34 billion tenge of premiums, the share of premium income from non-residents amounted to almost 70% of the entire market.

Eurasia IC continues to build-up its regulatory capital, which reached 261 billion tenge, or 38% of the market share. High capital adequacy rates allow Eurasia IC to remain the largest reinsurance company in Kazakhstan and in the entire Central Asian region.
